Information we collect
When you visit the Waco Business Journal, we may collect page-view metrics — which pages you open and when — through Google Analytics 4. We also collect the information you submit through our forms: your name, email address, phone number, message, and any business details you provide through the contact form, the business-feature submission, the directory add and claim forms, or advertiser and media-kit inquiries.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to measure traffic and, where applicable, support marketing. The main service we use is Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-P8E5E470M9). We apply Google Consent Mode v2, which means non-essential analytics and advertising cookies are not set until you consent through the cookie banner. On a first visit, analytics and advertising consent default to denied.
Your cookie choices
When you first arrive you see a banner with three options — Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, and Manage Preferences. Your selection is stored on your device for about six months. You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer.
Information you submit
We use the details you submit to respond to your inquiry, review a business for possible coverage, process a directory listing or ownership claim, or follow up on advertising. We do not sell the information you submit through these forms.
Payments
Subscriptions and other purchases are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.

Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our practices change. When we do, we will revise the date above and, if material, ask you to renew your consent.
